All 165+ mutations ranked by multiplier. Stacking formula, trigger conditions, and top combos — updated June 2026.

These stacks represent the highest theoretical Sheckle output using currently obtainable mutations (June 2026).
In Grow a Garden, mutations are value multipliers that apply to your crops when specific trigger conditions are met — weather events, pet abilities, or random chance. They do not change the crop itself, only how many Sheckles you earn when you sell it.
Variant mutations (Rainbow, Gold, Silver, Ripe) are single-select — only one can be active per crop. They multiply the entire result including every environmental mutation stacked on top, which is why Rainbow at 50× is far more impactful than its number suggests.
Environmental mutations (Shocked, Celestial, Moonlit, Wet, Frozen, etc.) stack additively inside the formula bracket. Adding more always increases value, but by a predictable and additive amount — not exponential.
Shocked (100×) only triggers during active Thunderstorm weather events, which occur randomly server-wide. You cannot force a thunderstorm, but you can ensure your crops are growing during one by keeping seeds planted at all times. Some players park multiple accounts on the same server to increase the chance of catching a storm.
Rainbow is a Variant mutation with roughly a 0.1% base chance per harvest. The chance increases with Rainbow Sprinklers and specific pet abilities. Because Rainbow multiplies every other mutation stack, it is the most impactful single mutation in the game and worth waiting for on high-value crops.
Abyssal (240×) is a combination mutation that requires both Eclipsed and Voidtouched to be active on the same crop simultaneously. Voidtouched is typically available during event windows or via specific pet abilities. This is the highest multiplier currently in the game as of June 2026.
Environmental mutations stack additively inside the bracket, not pure multiplicative. The Variant multiplies the entire result. This means Rainbow + Shocked is not 50 × 100 = 5,000× — it is 50 × (1 + 100 − 1) = 5,000× in this case, but with 3+ environmental mutations, the subtraction changes the result. Always use the calculator for exact values.
No. Variant mutations are mutually exclusive — only one can be active at a time. If your crop already has Gold and later triggers Rainbow, the Rainbow replaces Gold as the active Variant.
As of June 2026, players have stacked 54+ mutations on a single crop in verified tests, producing multipliers over 143,000×. The theoretical maximum grows with each patch as new mutations are added.
Many pets apply unique mutations: Raiju applies Shocked-derived mutations, Kitsune applies Foxfire, Corrupt Kitsune applies Corrupt Foxfire, Raptor applies Ancient Amber (which upgrades over 24–72 hours), and Dragonfly/Polar Bear apply random weather-type mutations. See the Pets page for full details.
